Defender of the Hart

Please join the Canton of Silverhart as we celebrate our eighth Defender of the Hart. There will be competitions for all including heavy weapons, rapier, archery, junior archery, bardic, games, arts & science and junior arts & science. Merchants are welcome. Please contact the Event Steward to reserve space.

Site Info: Site opens at noon on Friday and closes at noon on Sunday. Please bring drinking water, there is potable water available on site. Fires must be in SCA approved braziers. Candles must be in enclosed lanterns/holders. Pets are allowed, but must be kept on leash. Please remember to clean up after your pet! All trash must be packed out.

Site Fees: $13.00 Adult ($3 discount for SCA members), $7.00 Young Persons (under 16), 5 and under are free. There are no separate Merchant fees. Please make checks payable to Canton of Silverhart.

Directions to Site:
From the East or West head towards Spokane. Take the S. Division Street exit and head North onto Division. Follow Division to Francis Street and turn left. Follow Francis West to Assembly. Both streets come together as 9 Mile Road (hwy 291). Follow hwy 291 approximately 12 miles. You will go through Nine Mile Falls, along the river, up Big Sandy, through Suncrest, down and up Little Sandy, then you will pass two roads on the left, the second being Villier (this is at mile marker 17). Do not turn here! Stay on 291 for about 300 more yards, you will see a single driveway on the left. This is the turn. If you pass it, you'll see a tower and then you'll know that it was definitely the correct turn. The house is not visible from the road, but if you go down my driveway you'll see it. It's a log home, so if you see any other kind of house, you're on the wrong driveway. SCA signs will be out.
