Meeting Minutes
July 12, 2009 (Sunday)

5 People in attendance, 6:10 p.m.

Old Business:

Defender of the Hart - About 80 people attended between weekend and day trippers. The event went well. We made money, all bills are not in so we don't have an exact amount. Perhaps it is best that the champions are not relied upon to run each aspect, rather the autocrat finds volunteers. The weather affected the schedule, but we made do. Every one had fun. Maybe we should make a prize for the overall champion to keep? Perhaps create a travelling chest to fill with goodies or a necklace? Gilia was authorized the amount of $40 to spend at Coronation in case there is an appropriate prize in Merhchant's Row. 115 tokens remain and will be given to Aelliette for the next event.

Day Shade - Ono purchased a new shade and presented the receipt for reimbursement. This was approved at the last meeting. Ono will store this shade.

Winter Event - The submission is due to the Crier in September for November's issue. The event will be December 12 at the same as Fimbulvinter. The remaining frozen meat will be passed to Aelliette.

Regalia fabrication is in process.
Games: Gilia will make these over the winter.
Fighter practice is not moving yet. Ono is still looking into using the Fort.

Officers

CHATELAINE: It was a busy quarter. June 6 Silver Lach demo had 22 participants. There was weaving, fighting, archery and displays. 50 fliers were handed out. The Post Falls Annual Boy Scout Demo was attended by 2 people. There were displays and archery. 63 scouts and their parents attended. July 11 Silver Lach II has 17 participants. There were A&S, combat, archery and displays. 62 fliers were handed out. The demo the park wanted in August will likely not happen. It conflicts with Pendale's event. Maybe we should check the date ahead for next year so we can plan it into our calendars. Sukei has two day shades that are usable. We need to find a day to make loaner garb.

GOLD KEY: Making tunics for loaning to newcomers.

CHRONICLER: Minutes were finished and submitted to various lists. Apologies for the delay.

LISTS: Position Open.

EXCHEQUER: $2,412.08 in the bank.

HERALD: Richenda and Juliana ran a consulting booth at Defender of the Hart which was very busy. The Fox-Davies book is now available online for free download through Google Reader.

A&S: New officer was given information from the past officer.

MASTER OF STABLES: Ono is working on Marshall's tabards. He aquired ropes and poles for the erics. Fighter practice continues at 7th Street Park. Looking to have rapier, archery and heavy weapons practice all at each fighter practice. Looking for loaner rapier gear.

SENESCHAL: Nothing really going on. Quarter reports are due this week. Jorg needs a marshall report from Ono for Defender of the Hart.

New Business:

Ono is hosting the Burger Bash on October 10 in Winton Park. Details to come in the next months.

Border War (Wealdsmere) is at the Boy Scout Camp/Camp Easton on Lake Coeur d'Alene. September 18-20. There are showers and 'real' bathrooms. Perhaps we should put a paid advertisement into the Artemesian newsletter.

Janusch passed the autocrat box to Aelliette. Lost and found items from Defender of the Hart were a green folding chair, a dog leach, 2 ninja toys and a bracelet. These were given to Jorg.

Bids for Fimbulvinter 2010 are due at the September meeting.

We are looking to put in a bid for 12th Night 2012 as 2011 was awarded two months ago.

Our next meeting is August 9th at the Donut Shop in Hayden.

Meeting adjourned 7:05 p.m.

In Service,
Gilia Maddalena Sofia del Lago
