Meeting Minutes
June 7, 2009 (Sunday)

7 People in attendance, 6:00 p.m.

Old Business:

Defender of the Hart is at Lancaster's. The potties are reserved. Volunteers are needed. The event information is on the Silverhart web site. Jorg will bring the gate shade and table. Varaith is bringing archery stuff. We are borrowing games from Wealdsmere. Jonosh will buy 1 bag of oranges, 1 jar of pickles and a container of Gatorade. Ono is bringing the eric ropes and banners. If the Champions are not available, we will make do.

Demos: Members in Athol wanted to attend, but were unable to find the start and ending time. The next demo is July 11 from 10 am to 2 PM. A nice amount of fighters showed up as well as ladies weaving. 25-30 brochures were handed out.

Day Shade: Motion was made to set aside $120 to purchase a new easy up day shade. It was seconded and approved unanimously. Ono will buy it and submit receipts for reimbursement.

Games: Gilia requested $30 to make games boards for the canton. The motion was made, seconded and unanimously approved.

Aelliette's Event: What would we like to call it? Silveryule? We are looking at December 12 for the date.

CHATELAINE: Not present. See demo above.

GOLD KEY: Nothing to report.

CHRONICLER: Minutes were posted online.

EXCHEQUER: $1684 in the bank.

HERALD: We had a table at Celtic Revolt and will have it again at Defender of the Hart. This will be posted online. Several people are ready top submit their names and devices, they are saving up their money. A&S: Not present. There will be no sewing day in June, it is too busy.

MASTER OF STABLES: Fighter's Practice continues. The demo replaed a regular fighter practice in June. Armor building continues to increase loaner gear. Fighter Practice continues at the 7th street park.

SENESCHAL: Paperwork was distributed. We have a potential new event in December. Please get the paperwork in by August. The autocrat box will pass from Janusch to Alliette at the July meeting, which will be on the 12th due to An Tir-West War

New Business:

We need regalia, such as a heraldic tabard (Lily is making this), marshall tabards (Ono will make 4), seneschal's baldric, chatelaine's baldric. We need bags for volunteers to carry water in. Maybe we could start work on this at the july sewing day.

We might change Fighter Practice to The Fort/Waterfront Park. Seki is checking with the Human Rights building to see if we can use their parking on the weekends.

What can we do to encourage more people to join us? Family activities. Invite your friends. Period toys for children.

Alliette donated a 5 gallon jug for water.
