11 People in attendance, 6:10 p.m. Old Business:Fimbulvinter went well. We had about 90 people in attendance. Everyone appearred to be having a good time! Malachi and Katherine were lord and lady of Misrule. The kids made decorated crowns. There was dancing. The feast went well. We have a lot of meat left over. It looks like we made $351.09. Defender of the Hart: The potties will be reserved this week as well as the EIF mailed in. Paperwork was given to Jonosh for getting the insurance. We might be able to atach our insurance request to the Barony's for there two events at the same site this summer. We have a site for the event - Michael of Lancaster's. Next month we will change meeting places. The clubhouse at Arabella's won't work out. The owner of the Don't Shop has given permission for our use of their shop. All in favor and none opposed. Our next meeting will be March 29 at the Donut House on the corner of Government and Honeysuckle. Lily will post a reminder on the lists. The meeting will be at 6 p.m. as usual. Sukei has many irons in the fire: 2 demos, a mask workshop and a kimono workshop. He is meeting Thursday with the diresctor reguarding the safety concerns of the demos at City Beach. The demos potentially will be June 6 and July 11. Each will last 4 hours. The mask workshop date will be set and announced on the lists this week. The kimono workshop will happen after May. OfficersCHATELAINE: No new contacts. The chatelaines in this area have formed a network to pass out fliers at events and demos. There is a demo March 18 at 5PM at Lake's Middle School. GOLD KEY: Not present. Many people borrowed costumes at Fimbulvinter. All were returned. From the Seneschal - we need to be proactive about getting people to come back and play with us. From chronicler - a guest book will be put out at all events this summer to encourage people to 'sign in' with their contact information. CHRONICLER: Nothing to report. LISTS: Not present. Sir Guy won Fimbulvinter. Bevin is stepping down immediately, so the office of the Lists is open now. EXCHEQUER: We have $802.43 in the bank plus the profits from Fimbulvinter and we will be getting our deposit check back from the hall. HERALD: We had one event - Fimbulvinter. Juliana de Luna heralded court our herald was the autocrat. She was also available for consulting heraldry and was in great demand. Other than that there is nothing new to report. The Traceable Art Project continues to be printed and put in the binder. Lily will contact Juliana and Richenda about doing consulting heraldry at Defender if they are available that weekend. A&S: The class was yesterday at Sir Michael's finishing the shoes with the exception of the soles. You can contact him if you wish to learn more about historic shoes. We need more A&S represented at Demos. Jorg would like to step down as A&S officer at the April meeting. Other than that there is not much going on. MASTER OF STABLES: We have had fairly consistent fighter practice now that the weather has improved. We have a set of arms, legs and a gorget and will soon have elbows. Archers are making arrows. Fighter's practice is currently at the 7th street park. When the weather improves we will rotate between 7th street and La Crosse where we can also do combat archery. A couple new people showed up and contact information was given out. Ono will get fliers from Sukei. SENESCHAL: Business as usual. Nothing happening locally. The kingdom seneschal will be stepping down shortly. WEALDSMERE: The Baron was present and had no business for the canton. New Business:12th night: Lily will attend the baronial meeting to present the idea to the council. Meeting adjourned 6:57 p.m.
