Old Business:
We will hold over for next month as the Seneschal is not present. Reminder that bids are due tonight for Defender of the Hart.
Officers
CHATELAINE: No newcomer contacts or activities in November. It was a good month for Gold Key as Kathryn was warranted as officer. In December there was one new contact. Currently there is research being done on two demos for this summer to be held most likely at the Coeur d Alene Water Park.
GOLD KEY: Received a couple donations, thank you.
CHRONICLER: There was no meetingin December, so no minutes to report.
LISTS: Not present. Nothing to report.EXCHEQUER: November's balance was $1383.94. December's balance was $1283.94.
HERALD: The 'Tracable Art Project' is 2/3 printed and 1/3 placed into sleeves in the notebook. There were no events, so no other heraldic activity.
A&S: Arabella will check to see if January 24th is good for our next sewing day.
MASTER OF STABLES: No fighter practice currently due to weather. No indoor place found yet. Reminder put out that Wealdsmere has an indoor practice we could join.
SENESCHAL: Not present.
WEALDSMERE: Baron and Baroness present. Reminded that They will be present at and encourage others to attend Fimbulvinter, Tourney of the Wolves, Oasis Wars, Honor War abd Celtic Revolt. Currently the Barony is seeking an officer for Heraldry.
New Business:
Fimbulvinter - All is going well. Cler is running the A&S competition. Jonosh is running the kitchen. Ono will run the fighting. Ian will be asked to run Rapier. If he is not present, there is no need for someone to run rapier as there won't be enough participants. Prizes are taken care of. The theme will be Feast of Fools. We will turn the event on it's ear! The Baron and Baroness are willing to play and will serve as captain of the guards and chief lady of the court. We will declare a Lord and Lady of Misrule from the among the untitled populace. It should be a fun day. Fighting will be early in the day. The autocrat will ask Adelle and Roland to do dancing in the afternoon. Court will follow with feasting after. The Baroness will bring the tablecloths and Baronial serving gear for our use. We have 36-40 pounds of turkey which Cler is preparing. We also have 32 pounds of boneless pre-cooked ham.Bids were turned in for Defender of the Hart to be reviewed.
Ailliette donated a large water container. She will hold on to it until it is needed.
