Meeting Minutes

Old Business:

To anyone who wants to put in an event bid for Fimbilvinter or DotH (Defender of the Hart), the bid for Fimbulvinter is due next month and the bid for DotH is due at the January meeting.

Quarterly reports are due this month. Please CC Jorg a copy.

The Post Falls Library demo is coming up. Gilia will call and ask if there is room for a fighting demo.

The next meeting is November 2.

New Business:

Officers' Reports:

CHATELAINE: Not present. (Family Emergency) Nothing to report.

GOLD KEY: The inventory was turned in. Arabella donated totes, a notebook and a 3x5 card box.

CHRONICLER: The Web Minister and I have been going over the web site, getting it updated. An archive page has been created to house the monthly minutes and anything else that we would like to archive. I would like a list of the past officers and the past Defenders to post on this page as well. It is a great opportunity to keep track of our history as a canton. My quarter report is in.

LISTS: Not present. Nothing to report.

EXCHEQUER: Not present. No change to the bank account. Report will be mailed in.

HERALD: Paper, ink and protector sheets were purchased to print out the Pennsic Online Traceable Art Project. It is huge and will take me awhile to get it all done. I got plenty of ink to be able to also print out updated heralds information. I have a receipt and need to be reimbursed for the purchases. I will present it to Aodhan at Octoberfest.

A&S: The shoe workshop happened. Everyone stitched uppers. Still need to glue soles. November 1 is the tentative next date for the next meeting at Michael's. Jorg will confirm the date and post it. If it is not the 1st, it will be the 8th. 11 people attended from all over the kingdom.
The next sewing day will be Oct 11 from 12 to 5. Lily will post info online.

MASTER OF STABLES: Fighter practice was held last weekend. Four people showed up. No injuries. No archery. Ono is currntly looking for an indoor site for winter. Reports will be in this week. Will get the website updates to reflect the current fighter practice schedule. Loaner elbow cups were made. Jorg's man-at-arms is donating armor to the Canton.

SENESCHAL: See the old and new business. Nothing else to report.

WEALDSMERE: No representative present.
