8 People in attendance, 6:08 p.m.

Old Business:

Defender of the Hart (Stella reporting): It happened. Did better than expected. 51 adults, 10 youths and 3 children. Made $224.96. (Everyone thanked the autocrats.) Stella is willing to do it again in the future. The park was free, shady and had bathrooms. Stella won Bardic, Ian won Rapier, Gunnarr won heavies, Braithe won Archery, Cler won A&S, Malachi won games and overall Defender of the Hart.

Inventory - We will cover during the office reports.

Officers' Reports:

CHATELAINE: Not present; sent in report. Nothing to report.

GOLD KEY: Not present; sent in report. Nothing to report. Aodhan won the sword at DotH. We will have to find out how much fabric was donated next month.

CHRONICLER: No meeting in August; no report. Inventory report has been turned in. Minutes from each meeting will hopefully be posted on the web site.

LISTS: Not present; nothing to report.

EXCHEQUER: We have $443.32. Angriff has the insurance receipt and will return it. Inventory report was turned in.

HERALD: No activity in August. Inventory report was turned in. Request $50 to cover printing and a book for the library. Will purchase the items and be reimbursed at the next meeting. Motion made, seconded and approved.

A&S: The shoe class is next. September 27 at Sir Michael's. Cost is $20. Stella, Caieth, Aodhan, Thorsten and Jorg interested. It will be in the early evening. Please spread the word. This will take 2 working sessions. Bring an old sock. The inventory report is turned in. No sewing day in September. We will resume in October.

MASTER OF STABLES: Inventory list will be done. There were 3 practices in the last 3 weeks. 3 people attended 3 weeks ago, 12 people 2 weeks ago and 15 people this morning. There will be practice next week. We are in the process of moving practice to Winton Park where DotH was held. The change will be updated on the website and posted on the list. Ono might have a lead on a building at work for indoor practice. Lent loaner armor pieces out and they were never returned. Malachi has the old brown suit that can be used as loaner gear. Elbow pieces are in progress. Aodhan has been training in Archery and is willing to deputy to Ono. Currently the marshallate has 2 copies of the ABC's and a Marshall Handbook.

SENESCHAL: Requested funds for books and other required stuff. Still in the process of getting everything in. It should all be here next week. The inventory report is turned in.

WEALDSMERE: No representative present.

New Business:

Bids for the Winter Feast are due by the November meeting. The date is 2 weeks after Estrella. We need to check out the Cougar Gulch Grange as a potential site. Lily will check Redeemer church on Pennsylvania. Aodhan will check a site in Post Falls.

Bids are due at the January meeting for DotH. Remember that autocrats are deputies to the seneschal and must report regularly to Jorg.

Tier 2 events allow us insurance coverage and can be put on by anyone in the group. Ono will autocrat one on October 26 at Winton Park in conjunction with fighter practice. We will have a potluck BBQ using the leftover hamburgers that are currently frozen. He will post information on the lists.

The Autocrat Mentor Program is being shut down. It just didn't work. If you are a new autocrat, find an experienced on to help you.

Quarterly reports are due next month. Send copies to the Canton Seneschal, Baronial counterpart and Kingdom counterpart. Jorg does not need monthly officers reports given to him. (Hard copies.) Just the quarterlies. Send him a CC if you are hearing from your baronial counterpart thatthey are not receiving your reports. Please include your plans for the upcoming quarter (October-December) in your report.

As per the Kingdom Seneschal meeting at Coronation, you MUST have people's permission to post their photo on the internet. In addition, any press who attend events needs to have an escort that is suthorized by the seneschal to show them around. This does not apply to demos or tier 2 events. This is only required at official events. For us, this would include the seneschal, chatelaine, Baron or Baroness of Wealdsmere or anyone the seneschal designates.  We need to make sure gate knows this rule.
