The event will be held at Winton Elementsry school in CDA. It is on La Crosse and Melrose. It is a very nice site and has nice bathrooms. This will be a day event. The autocrats need to change the Kingdom calendar and announce the changes on the lists. We can charge a gate fee, but no NMS. There will be a potluck feast with the Canton providing the meat. The day will start early and have activities run all day. More details to come. Bardic will be during the feast. There can be no official business at court. Cash is needed for a change box at gate. Inventory - No one knows what we have. All officers as well as anyone who has canton stuff, please make a list of what you have and give it to Aodhan. We need to get more organized. HERALD: We had several people consult with the Heralds at Grim Offensive. Hopefully submissions will soon be in process. CHATELAINE: A business group contacted us on too short of notice for a demo. They will contact us again in the future, hopefully with more notice. They are business partners to the city of CDA and this could gain us some good contacts. If possible could they set their demo later in the day? No newcomer contacts last month. MASTER OF STABLES: Not present LISTS: Not present A&S: No attendance in June. The casting is finished. Next up is a shoe making workshop taught by Sir Michael the Tall. Will begin between Sergeant's and September Crown. Will have exact information soon. The cost per person will be $20 with the Canton's A&S funds supplementing the difference. Anyone interested needs to pay in advance. We will look to doing the casting class again in winter. SENESCHAL: New officer. The canton is lacking books needed in the library. Would like to purchase a Known World Handbook as well as print out Corpora. Requested $40. Motion made, seconded and approved. None opposed. To the officers: We need to get on the ball to drive our group. All officers need to have copies of your office's official handbook. You need to keep a permanent record of your officer's reports to pass on to your successor. For most officers, quarterly reports are due now. WealdsmereThe Baron was present: Sartori Camp is coming up. It is an educational international society. If you can, please make it. It is in Cheney. Information will be posted again on line. They have been doing this demo for 20 years. We will skip August's meeting as there are too many scheduling conflicts.
