Meeting Minutes
Tuesday, March 13, 2009

 Arms of the College of Lyonsmarche

Location: Idaho Housing and Finance Association; 215 10th Street, Lewiston, ID 83501

Called to order at 7:05 p.m.
In attendance Phelan, Ceinwen, Hallgrim, Tova and Tawny.

Old Business:

Honor War - Tova and Phelan put in the group use deposit. There was a discussion on access - we need to work up a large sign for the entrance to C-loop stating it is closed except for the War (Tova and Tawny will work on the wording). We also need to have barriers to keep the public from driving through the middle of the event like they did last year (BIG mention of the truck/boat combos that kept circling). Tova reported that last year revenue was 1,620, expenses $743, for a net profit of $987.

Honor War - Happenings - There will be a rapier tourney on Sunday, A&S competition on Saturday, lentil cooking/sampling on Saturday, and Brewing competition on Saturday. We will be awarding the Rapier Champion, A&S Champion, and Brewing Champion. There was a discussion on what we should give these people. We probably don't have time to make scrolls for the outgoing A&S Champion, but Phelan said he's ok with that. It would be nice to make some belt favors for the incoming Champions, with the Lyonsmarche device and identification as a champion with the year. If we do these through a sewing shop and/or personal machine then we can personalize them and not have to get them back at the end-of-service. Phelan will look into what it would take to make such items and costs involved.

New Business:

Honor War - all our efforts are towards Honor War at this point.

Officer Reports

Seneshal: Nothing to report beyond discussions above.

Eexchequer: Finishing up 2008 exchequer report.

A&S: Kingdom A&S was amazing. Met a lot of people.

Chatelaine: Nothing to report.

Herald: Tova and Tawny were able to work with HL Juliana on their names and devices.

Master of Stables: Nothing to report.

Next meeting: Our next meeting will be during the combined Fighter and A&S meeting on March 29, 2009. We will be meeting in the first floor combat room at the University of Idaho Memorial Gym. Approximate Council time will be 2 p.m.

Meeting adjourned 8:45 p.m.
