On Saturday, November 6th, in the Barony of Wealdsmere did their Majesties Thorin and Daegmar announce in Their Royal Court that Grimwithshire is now an official incipient branch of the SCA!
Our Royal Patrons, appointed by King Thorin, are Duke Sir Gunnar and the gracious Duchess Gabrielle. They are our mentors, voice to the Crown and our inspiration.
We owe a great debt of gratitude to Their Excellencies Baron Brandt and ban Bheran Kelta, along with all the populace of the Barony of Wealdsmere. Their sponsorship, support and encouragement has been vital to us. They are truly our closest friends and allies.
During our incipiency, we shall work towards the day we take our place as an official branch in An Tir. We can all take a great deal of pride in this. Forming a new branch is one of the most gratifying experiences one can have in the SCA.
