Grim Offensive V

Come one, come all! It is time once again for the mayhem and merriment fondly known as Grim Offensive. It is our fifth annual assault on anyone with whom we can pick a fight with and we are inviting all of you to come and enjoy the fun.

Site opens noon on Friday, June 12th; closes 5 p.m. Sunday, June 14th. Want to know what's happening when? We've got a tentative schedule of events.

This year we managed to procure prime real estate bordering our beneficent neighbors to the south, the Barony of Wealdsmere. We hope that this convenient location will motivate all and sundry to dust off their garb (and armor of course) and come join us. Campers note: this site is at a fairground. While there are building for shade, there are no trees for shady camping. You may wish to plan accordingly and bring a day shade.

As always, we will have ample heavy fighting scenarios, an all comers' Arts & Sciences competition and the ever popular Nine Trials of Grimwith (held in the style of the 12 Trials of Brunwulf).

We extend a cordial invitation to all merchants. There will be ample room and no merchant fee (a donation for the prize chest is requested). Contact the autocrats as soon as possible to be advertised on our event page.

Site fees: $12.00 (13 and older) for the weekend, $5.00 (6-12). $40.00 (family cap), $8.00, Day fee, $3.00 Non-Member Surcharge ($3) applies. Make checks payable to SCA, Inc. - Grimwith Shire.

Site Information: Clayton Fairgrounds, 4616 Wallbridge Rd, Clayton, WA.

Directions: From the south, take I-90 towards Spokane. Take exit 281 (US-2 N/US-395 N) North through Spokane for approximately 25 miles. Turn left onto Wallbridge. The Fair Grounds are located directly behind John's Automotive.
